can't run 6.5.2 samples

Hi,

I just installed 6.5.2 on my win xp pc. But can't run the samples.
Then I installed 6.3, it have no problem.

What I can do to let 6.5.2 running? Need to re-install?

Dear cean,
Before starting read carefully readme.txt in ...\smaples\mfc sub-directory.
to learn about launching and compilation options.
Take into account that samples of the release is built with VStudio 2005 PE
and suppose that you have it (or at least the corresponding redistributable package) installed.

hi,

I installed vc8's redist and in a terminal goto e:\opencascade6.5.2\samples\mfc\win32\vc8\bin to run a program, for example, ocaf.exe, but still can't.

I'll try to figure out if i need more env setting.

with vc8's distr, just wondering where VS80COMNTOOLS should I point to?

If I install vc++2010 express, VS100COMNTOOLS points to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\Tools\

but I can't find C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8.0 folder.

Thx
