| Description | OCC crashes on a system of mine when using TopAbs_EDGE or TopAbs_FACE with AISContext->MoveTo. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | It can be reproduced with the viewer3d-sample: * Run texture example * activate edges or faces selection mode (vertices and neutral point are working) * move mouse over the bottle | ||||
| Additional information and documentation updates | Visual studio says: "Unhandled Exception: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt." I've attached a screenshot of the detail-dialog. Because it's working on other systems I reinstalled Windows (7 Professional SP1 64bit), ran updates, installed drivers, visual studio and opencascade again, but the error stayed the same. To eliminate the graphics card as the source of the problem I deactivated my AMD 760G onboard chip and installed an ATI Radeon HD4350 - but to no avail. But after removing the (windows update) driver I installed the ATI legacy driver - and now it works. Does opencascade have problems with AMDs drivers from windows update? | ||||

Dear linden, the problem couldn't be reproduced within OCCT 6.5.3, 6.5.4 and current master. Please try test with current version and report explicit driver version (Catalyst release) if problem still occur. > Does opencascade have problems with AMDs drivers from windows update? In fact many applications affected by drivers updates and bugs in drivers. |

Problem is not reproduced on Open CASCADE Technology 6.7.0 beta. Edges and faces selection on bottle (texture example) in samples/MFC/Viewer3d works properly. Workstation: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1 |
