3D View not correctly refreshed on Linux

I have a display error in my application. On Linux (Debian 6.0.6) when I grab the application window with the left mouse button and move it around, after a few seconds the 3D view content is not refreshed anymore. The desktop shines through or the 3D view begins to be cluttered with "garbage".

After moving the application window to a position where parts of the window are hidden (for example over the screen border) and moving it back, the contents are again correctly redrawn. But when continuing moving around the window, the error happens again.

Sice my application is based upon the Qt tutorial sample (the one with the bottle), I have already asked this question here: http://www.opencascade.org/org/forum/thread_24543/?forum=5, but I got no answer. I had attached a screenshot there, but later I recognized that screenshots of OpenCascade applications ALWAYS display just a grey area instead of the 3D view on Linux systems. Therefore the screenshot there is of no value.

Does anyone use OpenCascade on a Debian system. Would you mind moving the window around and telling me whether your 3D contents are always displayed correctly?

Thank you very much!!!

I have used Open Cascade on Debian 5, 6 and 7 and never experienced the problems you are describing. Note that I haven't tried the Qt tutorial sample itself, but I have run applications that are based on Open Cascade and Qt and I haven't experienced this issue. Also taking a screenshot works without any problems.

I think this issue could be related to your graphics card. I had issues with my Intel graphics on Debian 6 with Open Cascade. You could try installing a different driver for your graphics card or switch to software rendering.
