Calculating Local Minima of curvature (for min and max) on Bspline surface

Hi All,

Curious what the best approach would be for finding the local minima of curvature on a surface.
i was thinking one possibility was to try and use some of the minimum functions in the math package, but i don't know if there is a better approach (or if that is even a solution at all.)

Does anyone have any possible thoughts on this? or at the very least, a direction to start researching into?

I think using of the minimum functions in the math package is the right direction.
