can any body tell me how to construct spring or thread profile using opencascade

Open up OpenCASCADE documentation, select Getting Started->Tutorial->Tutorial section. Click on the User's Guide link. You should get a PDF showing you how to create a bottle with thread on it. You can probably modify that code to suit your needs.

but my idea is not even clear.... for example if we want to construct square thread or threads of different shapes.. any other type with known pitch,pcd and helix angle etc how can we construct... as in tutorial example these parameters were not defined..
