When I try to run the java examples, I get this error. I tried to download the Java version recommended by OpenCascade and still it does not work. Can anyone share their experiences installing / running OpenCASCADE on linux? How do I run OpenCASCADE with Kdevelop?

Hallo Billy,
I ran on similar problems trying to install OCC 5.2 on Linux / Unix systems. As I experienced the command
java -verbose -jar setup.jar
worked immediately (on Red Head Enterprise 4, Suse Linux 8.2 and 9.2 and SunSolaris 2.8). But don't ask me why.
I found this hint in an OCC forum thread.
