examples

I just downloaded open cascade, and I'm looking forward to experimenting with the package. However, It would make things easier if I could see a few sample applications demonstrating usage of the basic classes defined within it. Anyone wo could point me to example sources or email them, please do so. Also, if anyone is looking for similar items, drop me a line, I'll be sure to forward anything that comes my way. Thanks

Look into the subdirectory "samples" of your OpenCASCADE installation. There is a bunch of example applications.

I checked it out. It's useful, and I have started experimenting using it as a guide.
I'm still looking for more though.
For example, I'd like to identify what's the minimum required to create a view for example, or display a line in a single view.
The examples given are very useful but they don't break down the functionality of Open Cascades package into it's simplest components.
The documentation that comes with the installation is structured from a definitional perspective as opposed to say an implementational perspective. A reference that says 'if you want to do this - do this'. Would be useful. Especially for those of us new to the conceptual framework underlying Open Cascades framework.

I have the same question as lee, any one can tell me what's the minimum required to create a view, and how to display a point, or a line in a single view?

Thank you!
