Exporting from draw

Hi!

Maybe you know how to do this:

Exporting everything I'm displaying in the AIS viewer from DRAW HARNESS. I manage to export one shape, but not all in one step or iges.

Do I need to use the OCAF document? Could you write me a short example of how it should be done?

Thank you very much, I really appreciate your help.

It depends on how much information you want in your step file. If you want intelligent shape hierarchies, colors, and/or layers, you will need to create an XCAF document in DRAW. There are a lot of options here, so you should probably read about in the user guide.\

If, on the other hand, you are simply looking to get more than one shape in your step file, you can create a compound containing all your shapes and write the compound to the file. The easiest way to do this is with the "compound" command. So, if you have shapes s1, s2, and s3 in DRAW:

compound s1 s2 s3 c
stepwrite 0 c compound.stp

Likewise, you can add shapes one at a time:

compound c
add s1 c
add s2 c
add s3 c
stepwrite 0 c compound.stp
