lets us suppose we have surface which is cylindrical shape,I have trimming wire at the end,after trimming in I am getting lower end of the cylinder but I want upper part of the cylinder,can u help me with this issue?
FYI surface and trimming curves are rational!

For Trimming a Cylinder you need wire containing 4 curves; 2 circular curves, and 2 straight curves.
Also, one straight curve should be reverse in direction, then only you will get a closed wire.
How many curves are there in your wire?

basically it is not cylinder,it is nurbs surface whose shape is like cylinder.... have a look at the attachment.
