We are going to issue a maintenance release of OCCT, numbered 6.9.1, to provide bug fixes and minor improvements over the version 6.9.0, before major release of version 7.0. The beta version of 6.9.1 is now available for testing.
We invite you to test this beta version in your applications. If you have reported some issues in bug tracker, please check those with Verified status and Target Version set to 6.9.1 -- we assume they are fixed, and will appreciate to see your comments in the notes of the issue. If you detect a regression, please report it as soon as possible.
Use the commit tagged "V6_9_1_beta" in the Git repository for this testing. (Note that this tag is not a part of the main branch; separate branch has been created for OCCT 6.9.1.) If you do not have direct access to the repository, you may download the archive of sources from GitWeb (just click on the "snapshot" link).
The users who are not ready to build from bare sources with WOK can use the complete source archive or installer (on Windows).
For details on the content of the 6.9.1 release, see draft Release Notes. Note that version 6.9.1 is considered as source compatible with previous version 6.9.0, thus moving your applications from that version should be possible without any porting of the code.
The final release of 6.9.1 is scheduled for the end of September. Thus some additional bug fixes can be added in the mean time; you can follow branch named CR0-OCCT691 in Git to trace the progress.
