Added-value components are updated to OCCT 7.8.0!
We are pleased to announce that the updated versions of our added-value components are now available for download. There releases are compatible with Open CASCADE Technology (OCCT) v.7.8.0. This update of the OCCT components provides around 40 bug fixes over the previous release 7.7.0.
Open Cascade customers are welcome to download the components from Customer Corner.
The most essential changes are listed below.
- 33330. Algorithm is upgraded to automatically resolve the degenerative links issue via anUsedLinks map.
- 33159. Added method to exclude contours with inner loops from facets, while creating facets from quad. Deleted increasing aspect ratio coefficient dependent from even/odd number of nodes.
- 33167. The algorithm was upgraded to check quad interior deflection - check distance between real 3d point and point obtained from 2d point on surface instead of projection of 3d point onto surface.
- 30256. Crash while importing SAT file on constructing a pipe is fixed.
- 33223, 33224. SIGSEGV and SIGFPE-related issues are resolved.
- 32965. PMIVis_TOT_Vectorized text regressions is fixed.
- 33199. Crash when unfolding plate limit is fixed.
- 33322. Triangles detection in cases where offset parameter is specified is improved.
- 33405. Updated processing of Spatial Structure.
- 31157. Dependency on OfcGeom is eliminated.
- 33488. Added translation of DXF MESH entities.
