seeking kind souls!

hello forum,

i am attempting what i think should be a relatively simple use of OC.
i wish to create a NON-interactive application (no GUI, etc.) to
(a) convert a .step file to a .brep file (the native OC format)
(b) triangulate the surface boundaries of the shapes in this brep file
(c) write out these triangles into a file for further downstream processing.

is there anyone out here who can comment on how to accomplish (a) and (b) with the minimum complications. even better, send me some sample code of similar things you might have done?

thanks much

Hello hpc hpv,

you can find a) in the IESample and in the Java samples, b) in the Java samples and if c) means STL you can omit b) and find it where you found a).
