Why I can't run a program which can run in Win2000 based on OpenCASCADE 4 in Win XP?

Hi,
Actually it can be run in Windows XP home when I install OpenCASCADE 4. But then I find My computer OS is not good and it is always unstable and out of order. So I reinstall my computer OS----Windows XP home, then I find I can't run that program.
I wonder whether OpenCASCADE 4 can't run in Windows XP home ? So whether OpenCASCADE 5 can't be run in Windows XP home, too?
Need Help !
